1. Log in to the user's server / main computer, that holds the PMS database.
2. Open the Alma software, log in.
3. Click on Arkiv > Ta backup.
4. Make a note of the path and click on xxx. In the popup, click on Ok. The backup will now start. A .BAK file is created (ALMATLS.bak).
5. When the backup is done, go to the folder where the ALMATLS.bak file was just saved. Right-click on the file and select the option to compress it.
This will take a few minutes, depending on the size.
