How do I set up the new Sirona integration? (DISO)
Upgrade DSIO version:
- If clinic already uses DSIO instead of TWAIN, download (V3.2) and install.
- Reboot PC
- Unplug sensor, wait 10 seconds, plugin sensor, wait 10 seconds
- Launch Muntra and make sure integration shows up
Upgrade Sirona integration from TWAIN to DSIO:
- Uninstall CDR Intra-Oral TWAIN Data Source & Schick 33 / Elite USB Interface Driver from the computer.
- Download (V3.2) and extract.
- Install the new Sirona Driver (autorun.exe) > Install Intraoral Sensor Software
- The Intraoral Sensor Configuration App will open. Go to Sensors tab and open the sensor.
- Make sure that the sensor & usb interface is up to date. Update if needed.
CAUTION: DO NOT UNPLUG THE SENSOR OR THE USB INTERFACE DURING THE UPGRADE.
Configure the device in Muntra:
- Open Muntra, navigate to the cogwheel (top-right) and open "This Computer". Hover over the device in the list, press the coghwheel and configure the following settings:

Recommended parameters (under Advanced):
filter string Supreme

If you get a error saying the driver can't be loaded, Core Isolation (Kärnisolering) needs to be deactivated. Search in windows for "Core isolation" (Kärnisolering) and deactiate Memory Integrity (Minnesintegritet). Restart the computer.
Testing the sensor:
When the sensor is initiated from Muntra, the sensor box will start blinking with a orange light communicating that it is ready for exposure. It is recommended to have the box visible from the exposure position so that the clinician can visibly see that the sensor is ready for exposure.
After exposure, the orange light will stop for a few seconds as the image is processed. The orange light will start blinking again as soon as the sensor is ready for the next exposure.
NOTE! If you use Sirona sensors and currently have Sidexis installed on the computer. Sidexis will disrupt the connection from Muntra. In order to acquire pictures from Muntra, you need to uninstall Sidexis Sensor Plugin. WARNING: After uninstalling the Sensor plugin in, pictures can no longer be acquired from Sidexis.
