How do I set up an integration with a Duerr VistaScan image plate scanner?

How to add a VistaScan scanner integration



PLEASE NOTE: Integrations can only be added in the locally installed version of Muntra, there is no support for adding integration via the web version.

  1. Click the cogwheel in the upper right corner

  2. Click on This computer

  3. Under Other devices you'll find the Vistascan driver under the Vistascan IMDA Product family.. If you can't find the driver in this list - please contact your Duerr dealer that can assist you with installation.

  4. Hover over the device and press the cogwheel. Enable the following options:

  5. Enable Add to menu

  6. Reload the Muntra application

  7. When testing the scanner, make sure the image plate is exposed. Empty plates are automatically discarded by the Duerr driver.


    8. Troubleshooting:
  8. If latest scan mode is not saved on exit, open VistaConfig and navigate to "Configuration Vistanet" tab (top-left wrench icon).

  9. Select Job Configuration: as set by job

  10. Close configuration and restart the PC.

  11. If issues persist, you have to reset the modes to factory default:<
  12. Open VistaScan Config.

  13. Click on the “F2” key on the keyboard.

  14. There should be 2 new tabs with “Acquisition modes” and “Maintenance”. Switch to “Maintenance” and select the option “Reset modes to factory default”.
